Day 01: Hanoi Arrival
Our local guide will pick you up at Noi Bai Internal Airport (Flight TBA) and transfer to Ha Noi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi city tour of the 1000 years old capital
AM: Pick up at hotel. Drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi - It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus. Tran Quoc Pagoda. Quan Thanh Temple. Visit Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature - The first Imperial school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: Visit a complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple (Jade mountain Temple), But Tower (Pen - shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red - painted wooden The Huc bridge…. Have a cyclo (pedicab) trip around with 36 streets of Ha Noi ancient town. Enjoy the special Vietnam traditional Water puppet show. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 03: Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu
After breakfast, we transfer to Dien Bien which lies the northwestern Vietnam along the border with Laos and China. Arrival Dien Bien Phu, we visit the location of the battlefield where historical combats between the Vietnam People’s Army and the French Colonialists Expeditionary took place. The excursion will continue to the local museum. Overnight in Dien Bien.
Day 04: Dien Bien Phu - Tam Duong
After breakfast, we continue the journey highlights about the most virgin areas of Vietnam along the borders with Laos and China. We stop at the many viewpoints and villages populated by ethnic minorities, the Red Dzao, Red Thai and black H'mong. Late of the afternoon, we arrive Tam Duong. Over night in Lai Chau.
Day 05: Tam Duong - Sapa
Continue your journey through the mountains on the road to Sapa. The city of Sapa is located 1600 meters altitude and bearing in the day clearly influenced by the French architecture. You also enjoy colorful ethnic hill tribes with a lovely location high on a valley side within sight of Vietnam’s highest mountain make this one of the most captivating, untouched destinations in Asia. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 06: Sapa - Hanoi
Breakfast at hotel. Full day discovery of minority villages located in Sapa Valley. Road to Lao Chai and then trekking (2km) through the rice fields to visit a traditional Black H’Mong house and then continue trekking to Tavan village (2km) to visit a Giay minority village. Enjoy Picnic lunch on the way and then walking through the bamboo forest till Giangtachai, a Red Dzao village. This part of trip is very interesting at all levels: beautiful landscaping and knowledge on ethnic minorities since Red Dzao has a nice and colorful costumes and interesting traditions. Take the bus going back to Lao Cai railway station for a night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Day 07: Hanoi - Halong on boat
AM: Arrival in Hanoi at approximately 5:30 AM, after breakfast, drive to Halong bay (03 hours road trip). Arrival in Ha Long Wharf.
12:00 you boat Bai Tho Junk, check-in registration
13:00 Having lunch on boat.
13:30 A fantastic cruise in Halong bay will take you to exotic islets with Dog island, Incense Urn island, Sail island, Fighting cocks island, which are naturally formed by process of erosion between the sea water and limestone mountains, Arrive to Surprise Cave for visiting (one of the most beautiful cave of Halong bay) and explore the bay swimming at Titop beach.
17:30 Drinking Vietnamese wine and enjoy sunset. Enjoy dinner on boat
21:00 Fishing or relax and spending a night on deluxe boat.
Day 08: Halong - Hanoi
Early risers can enjoy a morning view of Bay's landscapes. Sitting on the upper desk we can enjoy the breath - taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the Bay. We can hear the birds singing, cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against our boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze.
7:00 Have breakfast
7:30 A morning cruise to visit Man's head island. Tortoise Island. Visit to Bai Tu Long bay.
10:00 Arrange luggage and check out then have lunch on boat. You will arrive in Halong wharf. 11:45. Transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 09 : Hanoi - Hue
ABF, early departure for Hue on VN 245 (10:10 – 11:10). Enjoy a tour which visits the Citadel containing the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple. The Emperors private residence. We also visit the Imperial Museum and the vibrant Dong Ba riverside markets. Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Hue
ABF, visit Thien Mu pagoda by boat and continue to perhaps the most majestic of all Hue’s tomb of Minh Mang then Emperors Tu Duc’s tomb. Who lived in splendid opulence and Khai Dinh tomb styled with an Eastern and European architectural influence. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Hue - Hoi An
After breakfast, we will transfer to Danang, on the way visit Hai Van pass, a site that is covered in clouds all year round, enjoy breathtaking views of mountain landscapes, long stretches of beach, turquoise water of Lang Co's lagoon and the South China Sea Beyond. Arrival in Danang, visit Marble Mountains and Cham Museum. Drive to Hoi An Ancient Town: The ancient architecture of Hoi An is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. Visit Japanese Covered Bridges, Phuoc Kien Merchant Temple, the 200 years old Tam Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market, a walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls which reflect the town's multi-cultural past. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 12: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh
AM: Drive back to Da Nang, Transfer to airport for flight to Ho chi Minh City on VN 321 (08:00- 09:10). Meet guide and transfer to hotel.
PM: Half-day Saigon city tour: Cho Lon (big market). Overnight in Saigon.
Day 13: Ho Chi Minh - Can Tho
AM: Transfer to My Tho (03 hours road trip). Travel through the surrounding countryside passing lush rice paddies before boarding your motorize sampan for a cruise on the mighty Mekong Delta waterways. Arrival My Tho, boat ride on Mekong river and visit an orchard island where almost all the tropical fruit of southern Vietnam can be found and tasted, the 150 year- old Vinh Trang pagoda, which combines Vietnamese, Khmer and French architecture, Dong Tam snake farm, the floating market. See how to the people of Delta, the water is a life source - the focus of all daily activity - as you journey through a maze of tributaries and fruit plantations.
PM: Continue south through Vinh Long to the Bassac River and cross the Bassac on the 100-Ton Can Tho Ferry and enter the city of Can Tho, the unofficial capital of the Mekong Delta in the very center the world’s newest river delta. Check in Hotel. Late afternoon 2-hours boat ride through the beautiful and lush rivers and canals of the Can Tho area. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 14: Can Tho - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh
AM: Mid-morning check out and return to Saigon by vehicle. On the way back Saigon, visit Cu Chi. Sight-seeing on road: rice field, potter's kilns. Visit the underground village, which used to be a bitter battle ground for a long period during the Vietnam War. The amazing network of over 200 km of underground tunnels will offer you impression of the former fierce war in South Vietnam.
PM: Have a Sai Gon city tours: Visit to Reunification Palace, War Crime Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, City Hall, and Old Post Office, former US Embassy, Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh - Departure
Free at leisure till transfer to Tan Son Nhat International airport for departure.
