The most populated province of Kampong Cham borders five communities of Prey Veng, Kandal, Kompong Chhnang, Kompong Thom and Kratie. The provincial city spreading along the banks of the Mekong River was once an important trading port during the French period therefore the colonial legacy is still evident as you wander through the streets. |

Today we depart hotel at 8 am and drive through Cambodia’s biggest growing rubber area. The deep contrast of lush vegetation and red surface of basaltic soil is incredible all along the way. On arrival we visit the French colonial buildings and Wat Nokhor with the ancient temple and mordern style pagoda. We also cross the new bridge to see the rubber plantation which was established by the French tyre maker Michelin. The trip ends after arrival in Phnom Penh. (L)
